Well, that’s because of the rules behind Magic: The Gathering. You will only get points for copies of cards if it is the fifth copy of that specific card that you have.Įssentially, this is meant for players who have a lot of the same cards in their decks or just have a ton of cards, to begin with. You won’t just get points for any old card copy that you receive. However, even this action has some harsh requirements. If you get a copy of a card you already have in your collection through opening packs and the like, you will get some points. That way is through getting copies of cards that you already have. There is only one way that you can get Vault points currently. That’s quite a lot, especially when you get into how you actually get points in the game itself. The total number of points that you need is 900. If you are planning on accessing the Vault, you are going to need a ton of points to get inside. The problem with this is that if you don’t reach that number of points, then you will never find out about this feature naturally within the game. The number of points that you need to achieve is pretty darn high so it can be tough to reach. However, it does have steep requirements that make it hard to accomplish for a while.Įssentially, you have to rack up points in order to access the Vault. While there are quests and packs you can open already, this is another way of getting new cards. The MTG Arena Vault is an option that allows you to get rewarded with brand new cards at a certain milestone.
